Mahmoud Alhallaq @maheeed is a 29 year old teacher trying to survive in Gaza. Unfortunately, Mahmoud’s previous campaign efforts have been shut down or delayed due to a medical emergency with one of his advocates. Please read from him directly:

“I’m very shy to ask for help and donations❤️. I’m Mahmoud, I’m from Gaza, 29y. From a person trying to satisfy his hunger and thirst with a little to a person with a compassionate and tender heart.

🥺 Imagine waking up to find yourself sleeping in the streets of a ruin. 💔This is my situation and the situation of my family. The war has destroyed all my dreams and ambitions and broken everything inside me.

🥺💔 Help me to sleep in a safe place. Even with a little, so I can eat the least amount of food, as I sit for hours without a single bite. 🥹💔The war has left me without food or shelter. 😞💔I can barely wear the most worthless things.

The situation has become incredibly dire in Gaza as humanitarian aid is still unable to reach people. Please keep Mahmoud’s dreams of freedom and safety alive by sharing and, if you can, donate spare funds.

Mahmoud and his family have been displaced from their home by the occupation, just after he was able to rebuild the exposed wall of their house that collapsed due to shelling. This was the last picture Mahmoud shared from inside their home:

Pictured is his mom, Su’ad, and 4 of his nephews.

They are now living in a tent and have gone days without clean water or food.

As Israel and the U.S. continue to escalate their action against civilians in Palestine, it becomes more and more dangerous for Mahmoud to try and find food, water, or internet. I implore anyone with the capacity to help, either by sharing this campaign or donating even $1, $5 or $10 - every little bit helps and is going directly to Mahmoud and his family.

the iof is planning to intercept the madleen tonight, as far away from gaza as possible. the madleen is currently nearing the coast of egypt. it’s got a new tracker that you can find here
